Gena Morgese was born and raised in Sarasota, FL. She graduated from Ringling College in 2009 with a BFA in Photography and Digital Imaging. Her greatest accomplishment was fulfilling her dream to go to Alaska on her own after graduating. There she worked at the famous Sour Dough Studios in Denali, where she dressed people up in authentic Alaska wear and photoshopped them riding caribou and Bears!( it was the weirdest job she ever had.) She has been a featured artist in many Magazines and Blogs for emerging photographers including the well known Booooooom, F-Stop Magazine, Romka Magazine, and Rotating Gallery in NYC. You can currently see her work in the upcoming issue of Atlas Magazine being released in Sept. 2012 and at the South Florida Museum at the Exhibition Walk Far, Look Deeply September 14, 2012 through January 6, 2013.
